Evangelines Pram 


History:

Purchased by Evangeline Harrison from Whites Antique Market Fulham Road,1960.

Originally green, it was restored and painted black with gold coach lines for her daughter, Emma.


Overall condition: Kept in a dry attic in London for over 30 years,

Carriage/ body work : very good 

Paintwork flaked at footwell and scratched at handle end of carriage.


Carriage interior: leather fair good and clean with lid for footwell. 


Chassis : paintwork good, small chips and scratches.


Wheels: rolled along the cobbles at photo event so metal

all good. Rubbers in white are in surprisingly good condition.


Ceramic handle:

Middle handle intact.  ends broken off  and metal rod bent on one side


Hood: 

Exterior: Oil cloth with elasticated band. 

Fabric exterior fairly good, worn at attachment to carriage. elastic surround; good 

Interior hood lined white leather : needs a clean.

Missing bracket*


Carriage bed cover: oil cloth,  needs a good clean


Recently creating new leather springs with the original buckles.

It also has it's original break clasp. 


*Bracket: brass  : possibly still up in the attic?
