you may have known by now as i have been very vocal about my fethalite that i have this pram and cant see my way to affording to do it up as it deserves in the time i have before my 2 little grandsons get too big for a pram.my husband had an idea last night which i would like to run by anyone who may be interested.he said would it be possible to part exchange it for some money and the pram for a baby ready pram so that someone could have another pram to do up and sell on and i would get a pram for my grandsons? Is this a daft idea or could it work?

If  there  is   someone  out  there   who   wants   a  Fethalite  it  may   work,  you never know,   worth  a try  surely?       Did  you not realise that the  Fethalite  was in  need of  so much  work   when you  bought  it?

I was told it needed a new hood and apron and maybe tyres.it actually needs a new hood and apron tyres ,hubcaps(3-prong)and side straps.the hood and apron have good intact lining.i asked if the inside of the body was intact and was told yes but it needs to have some work done at the head which will entail renewing padding etc.,and its just too much for me and now i have family issues there isnt the money to do the work.I,m also up against it time wise as all the work needs to be done like yesterday as i have 2 babies who can go in it now whereas someone who wants to take a more relaxed approach to it with time on their side could do the work as and when which would help eke the money side out.if anyone was interested i would be delighted and would be totally honest with them unlike the lady was with me.

Oh  dear  I  am sorry  that  you haven't   had    quite  the   experience  that  you  were hoping  for.   It is  so  disappointing   when  this  sort of  thing happens.  I  wish  I could help   in  some  way.

lol you could always buy my pram lol seriously though I bit off more than I could handle in the time I have which isnt any.thought I could source the work have it done and get an unusual lovely pram. But since then I have had to put a son up as he has had to leave his wife and kids(temporarily)to get work over here with my husband he came out of the army over a year ago and hasnt been able to get work since and the family were suffering badly and we are paying for his keep and flights to and from n.ireland so he can see his wife and kids til they get housed over here and a bit of money built up i have also had to lend some money to a couple of my other children for emergencies and cant get it back for months which has left me so short and i am working but not able to pay for the prams work. There are other financial commitments atm too not family related so have to tighten my belt and that doesnt leave much for me and what I would like to do.if it had just been hood or hood and apron or just tyres whatever then maybe i could have had it done bit by bit but i dont have the luxury of time either.Anyway I have the pram up for sale in a couple of places so hopefully it will sell to someone who can do it up and make it lovely again.
