I wonder if any of you could give me some advice. I have recently bought a 1970s Silver Cross Grovesnor pram. It came without an apron. I can't decide whether to buy an apron for it, or to buy a raincover instead. If I bought an apron would I need a raincover as well? How waterproof is the apron? (I live in a very rainy place!). Would I be better off just buying a raincover to start with as it would be much cheaper? Does anyone know a good place to buy the apron? I have seen they are £50 brand new, but am happy to buy second hand. Many thanks in advance for your comments. With best wishes, Nicole.

Hi there i have a grosvenor(for sale atm..shameless plug there!)and to be honest if you are using the pram for a baby then an apron is a good idea especially in this chilly weather as it adds extra protection from the chill and traps it underneath with the blankets.with the front bib up also no rain should get in.where do you live where it is so rainy if you dont mind me asking?

The actual outer fabric on the hoods and aprons are waterproof too, so there is no need for a waterproof cover if you have an apron and I would say personally that they are a must if you want to use your pram for a baby.
