Hi, I have recently come by a Marmet drop toe carriage built pram which has its hood and cover. It is in need of light restoration, chrome is pitted, some bits worse than others, generally it is good. I think it is a 1960's one in Navy with cream stripe. If you are interested send me your e:mail address and I can send you some images.

Kind regards

Sally

Hi Pam,

I have put some photo's on photo bucket, these are the links as you will get a better quality picture than if I E:mail them. When putting it together I noticed that one of the wheels has lost the locating pin and the handle bar pins will need to be secured as they have popped the rivets as well as the rubber being perished. It looks to be more of a project than a pram that could be used straight away, the paint on the pram body is in good condition but as I stated before the chrome is pitted and rusty worse in some places like the lower frame and suspension, the hood is dirty and does have a split on one corner, the interior is grubby but not beyond cleaning. This is how I came across the item and was going to list it on EBay but found your advert when trying to find out the model. If you are interested that is great, I would love for it to go to somebody who is looking to use it. Let me know either way, or if you can offer me any advice on the model or age it would be very appreciated.

Nice  drop  toe  pram  Sally,    but  will the  body   go  on the other  way  around,  it  must  surely?    I never  saw  one that  way  around  when  I was  young  and  these  were   all over  the  place  then, it  looks  very  'back  to  front'   as  we  would  say  like  that. LoL

Hi Sally,i like the pram but want to ask about the lining.do you think it would be fine with a good clean as I,m not really wanting to reline it as i did with my fethalite as that was very costly and dont want to undertake such a big project again also would the apron do also with just a good clean as in are there any tears in it?Really just trying to find out as much about what needs doing as possible before i say yes.thanks,Pam

Hello

I believe that you are selling a Fetha-lite. Any top tips from your restoration would be really appreciated. Also I would be really interested in any photos you may have.

Thank you in advance  Eliza

Am getting a bit fed up with the whole thing as keep missing them or they need so much work done to them or people disappear when they offer one.so am renewing my appeal for a drop toe or low pram in fairly good condition.not going to go for a marquis now just going to concentrate on getting a couple hopefully of drop toes, come on folks someone must have one they want to go to a good home!!!:D
