Hi Sandra when I was a child like your mum mine would also say look at this pram its like the lord mayors coach!! I remember my sister having her first child and she had the most luxurious coach built I have seen it was navy interior grey like ribbed ,and a break on the handle you could slow the pram down if going fast down a hill.it was about 1953.I think it may have been what they called a park pram really large wheels I would love one today .can smell the inside right now .I bought a royal coachbuilt for my grandson who is nearly 14. I had a new hood and apron matress new tyers all the covers a canopy and white leather reigns its all rappet up in my garage like new I love it its a white body with black stripe .they think Im ecentric for buying it but like you I love it.and cannot get rid of it.I had the same model for my daughter in 1962.If you can shed any light on my sisters pram sandra I would be much obliged .keep polishing the crome love Jeanie.
