About Me

i am married have 7 children all grown up and 4 grandsons under 7.I have had a 1970's sx grosvenor which my grandson loved sold that to fund the renovation of a 60's Fethalite which both baby grandsons loved and have had to sell that also sadly due to lack of use then got a marmet sprite from the 1950's and sold that because it didn t have the suspension i needed just got myself a bargain mothercare 70's puschair from ebay for £6 and more recently a 1958 Marmet hard bodied dropend pram..this pram thing is certainly addictive...I have just sold a royale pram pushchair from the 70's and bought a wayfarer silver cross pushchair.I am now on the lookout for a silver cross york as i love the cosy look of this pram.

Hi Pam I live in Farnham Surrey so I don't know how near I am to you. It was a silver cross dolls pram that I was renovating and I am quite pleased with the result and I learnt a lot on the way. I am now working on an annonymous 1930's dolls pram and I have a Royale and another 1950's silver cross in the queue. All dolls prams. It is addictive you know. If I can be of any help by email or otherwise please let me know. Regards Jean

Hi, the person I got my daughter's pram from used Paisley Freight. I was a bit dubious as first because they only charged £30 but I was really impressed when it was delivered over 500 miles in less than 2 days. Did you get a pram? Regards, Janis
