CoachBuilt Prams

Perfect Elegance

This isn't really just another pram but it is a picture of a little girl called Emilee, who lives in Canada (she isn't so small now though!)   I have always admired this photograph and Emilee's family have given me permission to put this lovely picture onto the site.

I do hope that you enjoy it as much as I have.

Here is another photograph taken at the same time.

This is a beautiful pram which I bought for my new Grandson Kai to use when he was born in 2005.    It is a jet black Silver Cross Marlborough with an unbelievable shine, I have never seen another pram which shone like this one did.   I sold it to another Grandmother when Kai had stopped using it and it is now in Glasgow being cherished.    It is black with plain camelia lining.   I prefer a plain lining and my choice would always be for camelia.

This really is the reflection of my hand on the side of the jet black Marlborough!

This was the quilt set that I originally made for Kai trimmed with navy, but I prefer my girly colours and when he no longer used into the pram I retrimmed it with pink.

We were trying to hide the baby from the red hot sun that day, that is why the canopy is right down over him, he was only a few days old here.   By the way this is me, pushing the pram, in Caernarfon which is very close to where I live!

Here is Kai and his Mum Helen and big sister Kristina, August 2005, in Caernarfon.   He is a bit bigger now.

There are many more photographs of the Marlborough and many more prams in the Photograph Album.

Wilson Silver Shadow    Another pram which I no longer have,  this has gone to a friend of mine who lives in Scotland.  It has a 40 inch body and 24 and 18 inch wheels which give it that lovely elegance that I so admire.    This pram had a navy blue interior.

Now for three beautiful and very special prams belonging to June a good friend of mine.    First we have the Silver Cross Celeste, a beautiful starry pram and I have never seen one of these before.

And now for the Piece de resistance  the Wilson Antibes and Wedgwood, both belonging to June, aren't they magnificent?

This is  my  grandson  Kai,  in  one  of  my   three  Carnival  pushchairs.

These  were  excellent pushchairs,  I always  wanted one for my own  children  but  could  never  afford  one!
