This section of the site is to help you find Suppliers or services which you may need when restoring or maintaining you precious pram. I hope that you find what you are looking for here.

If anyone has any additional suppliers who they can recommend I would be happy to hear of them and add their details to this section.

It has   come to my attention   today that   people who have been contacting   one of the   restoration businesses from my list have been told some very   unsavoury untruths about another one (at least one, possibly more) of the    people mentioned in this section.    I can assure you that I would not put anyone's name on   this list   who I didn't know to have a good reputation within   the pram world.

The   business linked with these nasty practices will be deleted from my site straight away.   If anyone   hears of anything similar, originating from a company who I have recommended then I would be   pleased to hear about it.   I don't    recommend   people like this on my site, no matter   how good they are at their job.

Hood Lace

Some people    are in need of Hood Lace, which is the   braid   which goes around the hood   to   trim it and finish it off.   I   do know someone who sells hood lace and if you would   email me on   coachbuiltprams@yahoo.com   I can pass your address on to the lady concerned.

Rudy is in Holland   and the site is in Dutch but there   is the choice to have the   site displayed in   English very easily by simply    clicking on the   Union   Jack. If you    need any pram   spares it is also worth asking   Rudy because   his business is   restoration - and very talented he is too - and if he doesn't have what you need himself, he may well be able to tell you where else    you can get   it.

Re-Chroming   West Midlands

This is the company which I used for my bits that I had done,   they were done beautifully and very quickly indeed.    I haven't had wheel rims done, but I have a friend who has and she is chuffed to bits with those as well. Don't worry if you live miles away from them, so do I and I sent my things in the post with no problems.    When you ring, ask for Graham and would you   tell him that I recommended the company on this website and you got his details here too please? (No I am not   on commission, unfortunately, not for   any of    the   services/businesses mentioned here!)

Linda said that they were very helpful to her, even to engineering a small part that she had lost and the goods were finished quickly and returned well packed by post when they told her that they would. That's something   these days certainly!     She also   found this company the cheapest   from quite a few others who she had approached.

Anyone wanting a beautiful mattress for their pram couldn't do much better than visit an Ebay seller, www.babymattressesonline.co.uk They will make made to measure mattresses for you. Mine was made to fit the Lady and is beautiful indeed, with a white quilted cover, extra deep for the deep body and was here in around 48 hours! I was delighted with it. Another lady in the Prammie Forum was similarly delighted with her mattress from them, so mine wasn't a one off. Highly Recommended
